About Cameo
Cameo is an international non-profit organization that celebrates and promotes the multifaceted qualities of natural stone as well as global technical innovations and developments in the field of stone processing. It outlines progressive innovations enabling or improving a circular (stone) economy to replace the predominant linear model, which inevitably leads to the exhaustion of irretrievable natural resources.
Focus
The focus of the association’s work is the promotion and implementation of craftsmanship and artistic work, the design and creation of projects, objects and works of art, land art projects and spatial installations made of stone realized considering the latest sustainability developments. Besides, Cameo aims to be the leading educational association for crafts, culture and technological sustainable innovations to improve international exchange and understanding.
